Agile Hive App Settings
Introduction
In the ‘App Settings’ area you can find all general settings that affect all of Agile Hive but are not tied to Jira default functionality.
Prerequisites
In order to access ‘App Settings’ a user needs to hold at least ‘Agile Hive Administrator’ permission. See Permissions for more information on how to set up permissions.
Issue Link Types Settings
Agile Hive uses a variety of Jira issue link types to enable features for visualizing dependencies as well as managing relationships between work items and Risks or Objectives. To offer customers maximum flexibility, Agile Hive allows for the mapping of custom issue link types to the corresponding app functionalities.
Dependency
Select which issue link type is used by Agile Hive for visualizing dependencies on Roadmap, ART Planning Boards, and Team Planning Boards. Agile Hive comes with a default issue link type ("Agile Hive Dependency") but you can adjust the preset to fit your needs at any time.
In addition to selecting the issue link type, you can also specify how Agile Hive should interpret the link direction. In some cases, changing the link type may reverse the logical direction of the dependency, so it's important to adjust the direction for any visualized dependency links in Agile Hive board views to ensure they point in the correct direction. Always double-check the direction setting after modifying the Dependency link type.
Risks
Select which issue link type is used by Agile Hive for managing a relationship between work items and issues of type ‘Risk’. Agile Hive comes with a default issue link type ("Agile Hive Risk Link") but you can adjust the preset to fit your needs at any time.
Objectives
Select which issue link type is used by Agile Hive for managing a relationship between work items and issues of type ‘Objective’. Agile Hive comes with a default issue link type ("Agile Hive Objective Link") but you can adjust the preset to fit your needs at any time.
