Introduction

Agile Hive comes with a set of Jira Custom Fields to enable additional functionality related to working in a SAFe® context.

Creating Agile Hive Custom Fields

As a Jira administrator, navigate to the ‘Apps’ administration of your Jira Cloud site. Select ‘Agile Hive’ in the sidebar on the left and then go to the tab ‘Custom Fields’.

On this page you find an overview of all Custom Fields Agile Hive provides and the state of each of the fields for your Jira site. In case one or more Custom Fields are missing simply click the ‘Create Fields’ button to create any missing fields.

Missing Custom Fields

If one or more Custom Fields cannot be created they will display a SOME MISSING status. This is most likely due to the fact that another Custom Field with the same name already exists. This can be resolved by either deleting or renaming the Custom Field that already exists in your Jira instance.

Assigning Agile Hive Custom Fields with Jira projects and issues

There are two options when it comes to assigning a set of Agile Hive Custom Fields with your Jira projects and issues:

Agile Hive Custom Fields

Custom Fields for specific product features introduced with Agile Hive include:
